RELEVANCE OF RELIGION IN 21ST CENTURY

Religion is an overhead for the atheist ; hope for the poor ; honor for the middle class ; means for the powerful and rich. The famous line by the French politician Andre Malraux –“The 21st century will be religious or it will not be”- is on track to be exonerated.Throughout history differences in religious beliefs have caused an astounding amount of social commotion, including persecution, alienation, violence and even war.People of a religion decide that their God is the only God ,so the faith of others becomes invalid. This way of thinking often leads to a social turmoil. Some people though have the thinking that one day they will see some sort of “World Religion”,but this is unlikely and may be unhealthy. The fact lies in here the myriad people who inhabit this earth require different ways to express their spirituality.Any attempt to force them all into the same religious bubble is a sisyphean task. One of the most common assumptions is that religiosity is linked to economic and techonological development. As a society gets more technologically and economically advanced, the thinking goes, religiosity naturally fades away and is replaced by the religious disaffilation overview. But that’s not the case with the Indian society. Because every Indian is brought up in a conservative society, where we are moulded into God fearing individuals . And if someone questions these beliefs they are told to shut up for the sake of traditions. When you are a kid, Mom tells you to pray to God every night, your school day begins with a prayer assembly , when you do bad in a exam and is sure to fail ,you pray as hard as you can to God to pass you just this time with minimum bare marks and next time you will study. And thus we are brought up to believe in the All Mighty.Life is tough .It’s great if you have a single source of inspiration and something to believe in and move on. I leave it on God’s will. Having faith in God is a cool thing but we should learn to love people . Rather fighting over whose religion is good ,start loving people. The apple of discord cultivates when religionism bulldozes the well formulated concept of religion.Personally religion is the same as whatever clothes we prefer to wear.Like Barney Stinson some men like dressing up in formal clothes and wearing suits. While others might love engaging themselves into niggas with a hoodie . While some enjoy wearing suits, they should never persuade other people to share the same preference. They won’t bring a suit with them and force it on others. Despite identifying themselves as yuppie they should be totally okay hanging out with carefree hipsters. The same applies to Religious Belief.Religion is something you can rely on,and God is someone who will always be there for you no matter what happens.Believing in God is one way to get reassurance. There is nothing inherently wrong about it.If you're Christian, I'm happy to listen to how you found faith in Jesus Christ, and how He guided you in darkness just as a Shephard to a lost lamb. I'm interested in this because it's about your experience, and I care about you. In fact,if I was an English literature major, it would be great if we engage in an intellectual conversation on the Holy Bible as the masterpiece in the history of literature. What I'm not okay with is when you insisting that I should believe what you believe, and you make me feel like that our relationship wouldn't sustain unless I share your belief. Would I take up Christianity only to save our friendship? No, I wouldn't.
The Only Eternal Religion Is HUMANITY
Spread love :)
